Cameron May’s whole life has been about service…
All Cameron May has ever known, is Jupiter, FL. Cam attended the schools we all have – Jerry Thomas Elementary, Jupiter Middle, and Jupiter High. Whether playing JTAA football and basketball or excelling on the varsity swim team, he’s always been on the move. Always active and engaged, Cam relishes his childhood in Jupiter and all the green open space the town provides.
Cameron’s immense commitment to Jupiter’s community started very young with youth service at his church, where he is still a member. He protected thousands of young children as a lifeguard each summer, during his years at Jupiter High. Upon high school graduation, Cam became a Palm Beach County lifeguard, embarking on a career path to emulate his father, Don May, the former Chief of the Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue. Passionate about fire rescue, Cam graduated from the Fire Academy at Florida State First College and further sharpened his skills at Paramedic School at Palm Beach State College to pursue his dream job.
Cam now vigilantly serves our greater community as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. When he is not on duty, Cam also serves as a certified instructor at the Palm Beach County Fire Academy.
While studying at Palm Beach State College, Cam met Magen Brabham, another Jupiter native. They are now married with one son and another child due the day after the election!!!! Magen is a Senior Engineer at NextEra Energy.
Cam’s message, “All my roots are in Jupiter, so are Magen’s. If you know Jupiter, as I do, everyone here is my family.”
